Membership Drive
2009-2010

PURPOSE:
The Learning Center for the Deaf Booster Club was first organized in 2004 to support our
Athletic Program. The purpose of the TLC Booster Club is to support the Athletic Program in
fundraising, marketing, promotion, and public relations. TLC Booster Club also supports TLC in
their efforts to offer quality athletic program and experiences for our students by providing
financial support and assisting the school in achieving its athletic and extracurricular goals and
objectives. We also want to enrich students’ involvement in athletic extracurricular activities.

TLC like any other school must rely on the generosity and support of its families, fans and
volunteers to supplement the costs and support of TLC Athletic program. We raise funds by
running the concession stand at the basketball games, membership fees and selling school
promotional items (such as t-shirts, sweaters and stickers.) The proceeds from these activities
are primarily used for equipment, facilities/ infrastructure improvements and maintenance,
uniforms, officials, transportation and recognition awards, etc.

MEMBERSHIP:
Annual (September to August) membership fee is $20. We would like to thank you in advance for your support!

WHO CAN JOIN:
Membership is open to all parents, friends, teachers, coaches and administrators who desire to participate in encouraging and supporting these athletic activities.
