Announcements from Athletic Program:
04/05/10: Congratulations to our basketball teams (boys and girls) and cheerleading team for demonstrating excellent attitude and behavior at the tournaments. Awards were given to these players/cheerleaders:

ESDAA Division 1 Girls (2nd Place)
Lauren Ann Hostovsky, Courtney Huru and Lauren Sprague were named to the All Tournament Team.

ESDAA Division 1 Boys (3rd Place)
Benjamin Letendre and Andrew Velez were named to the All-Tournament Team.

ESDAA Cheerleading Competition
Team won Spirit Award
Samantha Perry was named to the All-Tournament Team and also won 2nd place for Individual Cheer Competition.

Additional Information
Courtney, Lauren Ann, Lauren and Benjamin received invitation to play for United States of America Deaf Basketball High School EAST All-Stars in Louisville, Kentucky leaving on Thursday, April 8 and return on Saturday, April 10. Peter Bailey was also selected to be Girls Head Coach for the EAST All-Stars team. He will have Courtney, Lauren Ann and Lauren on his team along with 7 other girls from different deaf schools in East region. Congratulations to our TLC players for well-deserved recognition and the opportunity to represent TLC out there!

Lauren is named to NEPSAC (New England Preparatory School Athletic Council) Girls Basketball Class C/D/E All-Stars team and will play on Sunday, March 7. The NEPSAC all-stars are voted by our opponents' coaches. Congratulations, Lauren!

Benjamin was named to Mass Bay Independent League Division B All-League Team. Congratulations, Benjamin!

Both Benjamin and Lauren Ann Hostovsky are named to DeafDigest Sports Basketball All-Americans. Also, Lauren Ann is selected as the Player of the Year for Girls Basketball! Congratulation, Benjamin and Lauren Ann!

TLC Girls and Boys Basketball are selected as National Deaf Interscholastic Athletic Association (NDIAA) Division 2 Team of the Year. Peter Bailey also selected as NDIAA Division 2 Girls Basketball Coach of the Year Benjamin Letendre is selected as the NDIAA Player of the Year for Boys Division 2 Basketball, Lauren Ann Hostovsky is selected as the NDIAA Division 2 Girls Basketball 2nd Team All-American and Lauren Sprague for the 3rd Team All-American.
