Tavis is an attorney in the Corporate and Securities Section of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., in Boston. Tavis’ practice focuses on debt and venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and securities compliance. Tavis holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School, a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business, and a B.A in Political Science from the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Pennsylvania. He has been a member of the board of the Learning Center for the Deaf since 2010 and is currently Co-Chair of the Nominations and Governance Committee. Tavis enjoys playing piano and is an active musician in his church. He lives with his partner in Boston.
