The Learning Center for the Deaf strives to attract, develop, motivate and retain the most competent employees possible to aid in providing quality services to deaf children, adolescents, young adults, and the Deaf Community at large.

The Learning Center for the Deaf seeks to employ personnel who meet high standards of educational and occupational qualifications, who can advance within the organization whenever possible, who have the capacity for growth, and who will benefit the organization. Employees should exhibit the desire and the capacity to learn, grow, and improve their own performance to meet those needs of the students and families they serve. TLC thrives on the cooperative spirit of its staff and their ability to work as a team to provide the best educational environment possible for all students.

The only exception to this policy is a written employment agreement approved at the discretion of the President or the Board of Directors, whichever is applicable.
