Stories of Real Gifts Making a Real Difference

We are grateful for all those who choose to support The Learning Center for the Deaf.

Below are stories highlighting how real gifts from real donors are making a difference for real kids. To join those who are making a difference in the lives of deaf and hard-of-hearing children, make a gift today.

Each Gift Matters.

"It's an honor to do something to help TLC and their amazing teachers and staff. I don't know where we would be if we hadn't have found TLC. We are part of the family now!" - David Finnegan, TLC Parent and Captain of Team TLC
"We are pleased to be able to provide our support to The Learning Center for the Deaf so that they may pilot Project Scratch, a computer program that follows Boston Scientific's focus on science and math education," explained Jacqueline Boas, Manager Corporate Citizenship, Boston Scientific Foundation
Gifts to TLC's Annual Fund and grants from MCDHH/MRC, help students at The Learning Center gain valuable work experience and prepare for a variety of careers.
"Here were two people communicating easily having completely bypassed my way of doing it. There was freedom in that... my horizons widened. I wanted to learn more about those who had adapted to life without sound." - Suzanne Newton, David Schwab Memorial Society Member
