 11th Annual Golf Tournament - 2008The Learning Center hosts two major fundraising events during the year: a spring gala and a summer golf tournament. Throughout the year, a variety of events are hosted to support particular programs on campus, please check back for continuing updates on what’s happening at TLC.
The 2008 gala event raised $75,000 for the Early Childhood Center. With only one-third of program costs covered by the Department of Public Health, TLC relies on the gala to fill that gap. The gala is a wonderful excuse to get dressed up and enjoy a night with others who share our vision for TLC and our students.
Our golf tournament has become the highlight of the summer. The golf tournament is yet another way people can help fill the gap between tuition funded by cities and towns and the actual costs of maintaining facilities and improving resources for teachers and students. The tournament is a day full of fun with exciting contests and a lively auction with dinner.
