For the Community
The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) is a nationally-recognized center of excellence, providing educational, therapeutic, communication, and cultural services.
In addition to enrolling over 200 deaf and hard of hearing students a year in the two schools on our Framingham campus, we provide a range of educational and therapeutic programs by, for, and with the Deaf community and broader Massachusetts community.
A leader in the field, TLC offers professional development and training for educators, researchers, interpreters and practitioners.
TLC staff are sought-after subject matter experts in linguistically accessible and culturally-affirming education and practice. TLC staff across programs lead workshops on our campus and in the community, present at conferences, develop innovative educational resources, and author chapters, books, and articles.
TLC is actively engaged in the community, and we are committed to leadership and advocacy on local, state, and national levels.
