The first step is a complete hearing test. This can be performed here at the clinic. We accept many insurance plans, or it is also possible to private pay. If your insurance is not accepted here, you may be able to obtain the hearing test at your Ear, Nose and Throat doctor’s office. You can then bring us that information to use to determine your need for a hearing aid.
Once the hearing test has been completed, one of our audiologists will sit down with you and explain the results of your hearing test. If you are a candidate for a hearing aid, she will discuss which type of hearing aid would be most beneficial to you. That part of the appointment is called a hearing aid consultation. There is no charge for this consultation. Hearing aid features and prices will be discussed, as well as what you can expect during your trial period. Our audiologists do not receive sales commissions; any profit made from the hearing aid sale goes directly to our school. Our students benefit directly from your purchase.
