Join us for an evening of casino games, auction items and a lot of fun, all in support of The Learning Center for the Deaf!
About Our Event
Seven game tables will feature Poker, Blackjack, Roulette, and Money Wheel, all staffed by professional event game dealers. You will mingle and move around our casino floor as you learn, play, place "bets" and have a lot of fun!
Each general admission ticket includes buffet meal, an in-person glimpse into our many auction items, and $500 in chips to get started. (Additional chips can be purchased throughout the evening)*.
The annual Warren Schwab Memorial Award will be presented to an individual who has helped to shape and inspire Deaf education and advocacy. The award honors TLC Founder and Pioneer Warren Schwab, who opened The Learning Center in 1970.

We are grateful for your continued and generous support in helping us to create an environment where deaf and hard of hearing children and adults thrive by having the knowledge, opportunity and power to design the future of their choice.
As many as 70% of deaf children are experiencing severe language deprivation. Among the families and communities of Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color (BIPOC) deaf children, the language deprivation is much more prevalent due to a systemic lack of access.
Language deprivation is defined as the lack of developmentally appropriate proficiency in any natural language. The consequences of language deprivation are devastating and impact a deaf child for the rest of their lives if not strongly addressed between birth and age five.
We are committed to eradicating language deprivation through our multiple programs including the Badavas Parent Infant Program, the Early Childhood Center, and our three school programs: Marie Philip School, Walden School, and Public School Partnerships.
