In Our Schools
The main campus of The Learning Center is located on a 14-acre parcel in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Framingham, Massachusetts. Housed in 16 buildings are:
- Classrooms
- Therapeutic units
- Library
- Industrial and fine arts facilities
- Multi-purpose gymnasium/auditorium
- Student residences
- Kitchen/dining area
- Maintenance workshop
- Administrative offices
- Speech and Audiology Services
The following campus-based programs are offered for deaf and hard-of-hearing children:
- Pre-K through 12th Grade School
- Early Childhood Center
- Parent-Infant Program (PIP) -- ages 0 to 3 and their parents
- Preschool -- ages 3 - 4
- Kindergarten -- age 5
- Elementary School - ages 6-12
- Lower Elementary -- ages 6 - 7
- Upper Elementary -- ages 8 - 12
- Secondary Education
- Middle School -- ages 11 - 14
- High School -- offering an academic curriculum, as well as an optional Career & Technology Education (CTE) Program, and a 5 day residential program
- Special Needs -- for Deaf students with cognitive or behavioral disabilities
- Walden School
In addition, TLC offers a variety of after-school and athletic programs for elementary, middle school and high school students.
