The Learning Center for the Deaf has welcomed Daniel Belozovsky as the Community ASL Class Coordinator.
Daniel was born and raised in Framingham. He attended TLC from the Badavas Parent Infant Program through his senior year of high school. After graduation, he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Finance at Rochester Institute of Technology and will complete his MBA at RIT in August 2025.
“I am so excited about the opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape me! It’s now my turn to contribute to others through our Community ASL classes, where I can make a positive impact,” Belozovsky said.
TLC offers Community ASL classes year-round for ages 16 and older. Each session runs for six weeks. Online and in-person classes are offered for beginners through advanced students. Classes are small and encourage full participation in a fun and conversational setting. Participants work to develop an ASL vocabulary and understanding of the language while also learning about Deaf culture and history.
Beginner and Advanced classes for kids are also offered on a rotating basis. Schedules and information can be found at here.
